Tenerife's dinner shows are not variations on one format. One is a medieval banquet in a stone castle where you eat the main course with your hands, one is an over-16s cabaret with a dress code, and two are restaurant nights on the Golden Mile where the food is the point and the show runs around it.
Booking the wrong one is the common mistake, usually by a family arriving at an adults-only cabaret or a couple wanting a quiet dinner finding themselves at a jousting tournament. The cheapest of the four is €52 per person, checked on 19 August 2026, and it happens to be the one that suits the widest range of people.

Two of them run only at weekends, which is the constraint that usually decides the matter. Check the night before you build an evening around any of these.
Castillo San Miguel: the one to book first
This is the pick, and not only because it is the cheapest. It is the only one of the four that genuinely works for a mixed group of adults and children without anybody enduring it.
The setting is a purpose-built castle in Aldea Blanca, San Miguel de Abona, roughly 20 minutes from Costa Adeje and Playa de las Américas. The show runs two and a half to three hours and covers jousting tournaments on horseback, falconry, acrobatic riding and fire-breathing, followed by dancing in a ballroom once the tournament finishes.

The banquet is a three-course meal: cream of vegetable soup, a baked chicken leg with baked potatoes and dressed tomato, then ice cream cake. Wine, water and soft drinks are served through dinner.
The detail that makes it work is the staging of the meal. You drink the soup, eat the chicken with your hands, and get a wooden spoon for dessert, because that is how it would have been done. Children find this the best part of the evening. Anyone hoping for refined dining should book somewhere else entirely, which is the honest way to put it.
Scandal Dinner Show: the adults-only option
The counterpart to the castle, and the one people most often misjudge. Scandal is 16 and over, staged in the Sala Las Olas at the five-star GF Victoria hotel in Costa Adeje, and it mixes dance, drag, comedy, burlesque and variety acts across the evening.
The format is a five-course tasting dinner with an open bar covering water, soft drinks, wine and beer. A vegetarian menu exists but must be selected when you book, not requested at the table.
It runs Fridays and Saturdays, with doors from 20:00 and the show itself roughly 20:30 to 23:00. There is a real dress code: smart casual, long trousers for men, and beachwear, swimwear and flip-flops are refused at the door.
On price we are going to be careful. Tickets sell in three tiers, described as Standard, Gold and Platinum, and third-party resellers list it from around €89. That figure is not one we could verify against the venue, and it moves with the tier.

Bianco: an Italian dinner that turns into a party
Bianco has been on the Golden Mile in Playa de las Américas since 2006, and its Saturday night event is better described as a dinner party than a show. You get a glass of prosecco on arrival, then Italian food alongside guest DJs, dancers, a guitarist and an opera singer.
The distinction from the other three matters. At the castle and at Scandal you watch a production. Here the entertainment moves around the room while you eat, and the evening builds rather than following a running order.
That makes it the right choice for a celebration, an anniversary or a group who want a long dinner that turns loud, and the wrong choice for anyone who wants to sit and watch a stage. The restaurant itself is open daily from 13:30 to 23:00; the show night is the Saturday.
El Faro: The Mile Show
El Faro sits at Parque Santiago 5 on the Avenida las Américas, and its dinner show, The Mile, runs Fridays and Saturdays at around 21:00 to 21:30. The programme is live music, dance and acrobatics, including trapeze work, singers and musicians.
Its distinguishing feature is the food. Where the castle serves a fixed banquet and Scandal a tasting menu, El Faro is à la carte, so you order what you want, with vegetarian options available. That suits fussy eaters and large groups with different appetites far better than a set menu does.
It is also the least age-restricted of the weekend shows, making it a reasonable middle path for a group with teenagers who would find the castle childish and cannot get into Scandal.
Which one should you book?
Book the castle if there are children in the party, if you want the cheapest per-head price, or if you want an evening that is unmistakably an event rather than a meal.
Book Scandal if it is adults only, you want the polished production and the open bar, and nobody objects to putting on long trousers.
Book Bianco for a celebration where the food matters and the night is meant to escalate, and El Faro if you want a show but also want to choose your own dinner.
